China Electrodeless Lamp Industry Alliance established in Beijing

The “China Electrodeless Lamp Industry Alliance” initiated by the China Institute of Illumination and the National High-Tech Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Promotion Center initiative was officially established in Beijing recently. Industry-leading expert Professor Wu Chuyu was elected as the first chairman of the Alliance. The meeting reviewed and passed the “Constitution” of China Electroless Lamp Industry Alliance, and elected 20 standing directors and directors.

The full name of the electrodeless lamp is plasma electrodeless discharge lamp. Compared with other light sources, the electrodeless lamp has significant characteristics such as long life, high efficiency, energy saving, and health and environmental protection. At present, more than 90% of the patented technology of electrodeless lamps is in China, and Chinese companies have taken the lead in breaking the bottleneck of cost and frequency of electrodeless lamps. However, there are also defects such as the completion of related standards and the lag in the development of related supporting industries. The establishment of China Electroless Lamp Industry Alliance will create a group of international lighting companies like Philips by integrating existing industrial resource advantages.
