China Telecom and UC push Ali fish card: UC browser free flow

IT Home, September 28 â€“ Over the past two years, several telecom operators have partnered with internet companies to launch exclusive data plans that offer highly competitive pricing. Recently, China Telecom has once again joined forces with UC to introduce a new data card called the Ali Fish Card.

According to reports, the Ali Fish Card offers free data usage across a range of popular apps. It is a joint effort between UC, Youku, Shrimp (Tieba), Gaode Map, and Shu Qi. This means that users of the Ali Fish Card can enjoy unlimited data on UC Browser, as well as exclusive data packages for Youku, Tieba, Gaode, and Shu Qi.

However, at this time, the official government or telecom authorities have not released detailed pricing information. What is known is that there are two versions of the Ali Fish Card: the Big Fish Card priced at 19 yuan per month and the Small Fish Card at 9 yuan per month. In addition to the free data benefits, any extra data usage will be charged at 1 yuan for 800MB within the province and 2 yuan for 800MB for national data. This pricing model is similar to the daily data packs offered by Tencentâ€™s Wang Card.
