The TDK Group is now introducing a new line of EPCOS NTC surge current limiters: the P27 series. With a normal disc diameter of 27mm and a lead spacing of 7.5mm, the series expands the portfolio of large NTC surge current limiters (ICLs) for industrial electronics applications. The new NTC inrush current limiter has a high material density and a disc thickness of ≤ 7mm, which contributes to a high performance design. The new P27 series is ordered with the B57127P0*M301 and is extremely stable and reliable. At 25°C, the new series is rated for resistance from 0.5° to 10° and can handle large currents up to 30A, depending on the model.

The new series of NTC inrush current limiters (ICLs) have lower resistance during operation, resulting in lower power losses in AC and DC circuits. The new P27 series of large-size components are suitable for large motors and drives, various high-power power supplies, and industrial applications such as welding and plasma cutting equipment.

The P27 Series Inrush Current Limiter (ICL) is available in a flame retardant coating with a certified flame rating of UL94V-0. The new product is RoHS compliant and UL approved (E69802). We can also provide samples if needed.
