USA - Stewart Filmscreen ( http:// ), a specialist in precision projection screen technologies for residential and commercial markets, announces the launch of a new one-of-a-kind LED lighting system for its line of Cabaret Projection screens.
Stewart's new LED lighting system is designed to backlight the Cabaret projection screens with the appropriate color setting to enhance viewing environments. This unique form of bias lighting allows for a more comfortable viewing environment by providing ambient mood lighting for the room that enhances image fidelity rather than Detracting from it. Stewart Filmscreen is the only screen manufacturer to incorporate LED lighting technology into retractable projection screen solutions.
Stewart's new LED lighting system features an Intelligent Lighting Controller (ILC-10010) with a built-in IST (Intelligent Selector Technology) which enables users to control the color temperature and brightness of the LEDs within seconds to create the ultimate atmosphere for enjoying a movie Unlike traditional LED lighting controllers, the ILC-10010 allows any imaginable hue from a palette of 16 million colors to be user selected, saved in memory and dimmed.
The LED lighting system can eliminate the need for distracting room lights by making even light to see one's equipment, furniture or guests without compromising image fidelity. Another unique feature of Stewart's LED lighting system is that it is motor controlled allowing it to color adjust while the Screen is being deployed or recessed.
Stewart's optional BSKP-2110-L 10 Intelligent "Chroma" Keypad offers a low-cost lighting solution that can adjust, select, and store any lighting value on one or more lighting controllers. Any number of lighting controllers can be linked together and controlled from a single keypad.
Its intuitive user interface enables up to six lighting presets to be quickly selected as well as a programmed lighting sequence. Its innovative, low profile IR receiver can be hidden virtually anywhere to receive IR transmission for ILC-IR remote unit.
The External Bus adapter options are also available for use with third party automation systems. The Intelligent Bus Translator (IBT10) is a robust standalone serial interface converter/firewall for CS-Bus10 and other RS-485 devices.
The small form factor processor-based adapter is designed to maintain the reliability of the lighting control network while enabling external automation systems to command the lighting controller using standard RS-232-C communication. Industry standards for RS 232-C limit wiring runs to 50 Feet or less, such restricting or increasing the complexity of their system designs.
Unlike standard RS 232-C systems, the IBT10, enables control systems to be up to 4000 feet away from the lighting controller even though the automation system relies on RS-232-C communication. Stewart's LED lighting system does not require a high voltage electrical License (Class 1) to install or program the unit.
