Freescale and Nivis join forces to develop wireless sensor networks

Freescale and Nivis (a leading wireless network technology developer and integrator) will combine their respective technologies to jointly launch wired-wireless platforms for commercial and industrial distributed sensor networks.

Taking into account the new wireless standards that are constantly emerging in the industrial and commercial fields, the R & D platform will integrate sensor interfaces, wireless modules, routers / gateways, security management and advanced network management functions, as well as the related software required.
