Automotive integrated circuit regulator circuit

The integrated circuit regulator is suitable for 14V, 350-d500W external iron silicon rectifier generators (such as with JF2132N, JF2132A, JF213E generators used in Dongfeng E0109a cars).

The internal circuit of this regulator is shown in the figure. The adjustment circuit works as follows:

1) After the ignition switch S is turned on, the Battery voltage is applied to a voltage divider composed of resistors Ri, bogey, and R3. At this time, the potential at point A is lower than the reverse breakdown voltage of the Zener diode VDS. Therefore, VS3 is not turned on, and transistor VT1 is in an off state without a base current. The battery provides a base current to VT2 through R5, turning VT2 and VS3 on. The current starts from the battery "+" ,, and passes through the ignition switch S, the field winding, the VS3 (c, e pole), the grounding, and returns to the "one" pole of the battery to form a loop. The generator has a field current, starts to generate electricity and increases with the speed, and the voltage rises accordingly.

2) When the generator voltage exceeds the specified value (14 ± 0.2) V, the voltage at point A is higher than the reverse breakdown voltage of the Zener diode VS3, and VS3 is turned on to turn on VT1. When VT1 is turned on, the collector voltage is lowered to turn off VT2 and VT3, and the generator magnetic field circuit is cut off, so that the generator output voltage is lowered.

3) When the generator voltage is lower than the specified value, the VS3 fork is cut off. VT1 is turned off, so that VT2 and VT3 are turned on, the exciting current is turned on again, and the generator voltage is raised again. This is repeated to stabilize the generator voltage within the specified range.

When the grid is cut off, the three-phase dump load of the Controller will automatically start to work and the Inverter will stop output to grid. When the grid resuming, the controller stops three-phase dump load and the inverter will resume power supply.

The inside of the controller is equipped with surge protector. Contain the over voltage into the Wind Turbine under the bearable voltage of the equipment or system. On another way, to conduct the strong lightening current into the earth directly to avoid any damage of equipment.
