AODV routing protocol

AODV routing protocol

The AODV routing protocol is based on the DSDV protocol and is improved after combining the on-demand routing mechanism similar to DSR. It not only borrows the DSR route discovery and route maintenance mechanism, but also uses the DSDV hop-by-hop routing, sequence numbering and route maintenance The periodic update of the stage also adds support for multicast routing QoS. The most notable feature is that each entry in the routing table uses the destination sequence number, which can also avoid the occurrence of loops and is easy to program. achieve. Based on the above advantages, AODV has become a hot spot in the research of ad hoc network routing protocols.

In the AODV protocol, when the source node needs to communicate with a new destination node, a route discovery process is initiated, and the corresponding route is found by broadcasting the route request RREQ information. When the RREQ reaches the destination node itself or an intermediate node with a sufficiently new route (determined by the destination sequence number) to the destination node, the destination node or intermediate node returns a route response RREP message to the source node through the original route to determine the route.

After the routing table entry is established, each node in the route must perform the tasks of maintaining and managing the routing table. The routing table needs to maintain a routing entry corresponding to the destination address in order to achieve hop-by-hop delivery. In the process of maintaining the routing table, when the route is no longer used, the node deletes the corresponding entry from the routing table. At the same time, the node will monitor the status of the next hop node in an active route. When a link is found to be broken, it will issue a routing error RERR message to notify other nodes to repair the route. In the RERR message, the destination node that cannot be reached due to the broken link is specified. Each node maintains a "pioneer list" to help complete the function of error reporting. This list stores neighbor nodes that regard themselves as the next hop to the currently unreachable node.

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects Electronic Components or electrical components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from one or more sheet layers of copper laminated onto and/or between sheet layers of a non-conductive substrate. Components are generally soldered onto the PCB to both electrically connect and mechanically fasten them to it.
Printed circuit boards are used in all but the simplest Electronic Products. They are also used in all kinds of electrical products
