TI launches HealthTech product portfolio to help personal fitness devices

At present, there is a new trend in the consumer market-personal fitness devices. Heart rate monitors, wearable fitness trackers, and weight scales that can analyze body composition are just options for athletes and fitness friends to measure and monitor their personalized fitness exercises and daily activities. For example, a heartbeat / fitness monitoring device can measure a person's amount and rate of movement (such as miles and movement rhythm). Typically, a watch or wrist-worn display can be used to control and provide feedback. The stored data can be downloaded to the computer via USB or wireless USB dongle. All system components require ultra-low power embedded controllers and power RF communication components. Heartbeat monitoring and motion output monitoring (such as motion speed sensor or sensor power supply) require additional signal conditioning.
