The collaborators of the study, Alexander Grures and Nickre Wabitissky of the Center for Electronic Properties of the Institute of Materials Science at the University of Vienna, Austria, said: "The graphene layer of monoatomic thickness and the blend made of it Materials allow us to borrow ARPES to study many novel electronic phenomena."

Using ARPES, scientists have found that this graphene-covered silicide is not oxidized, so it can be used in many electronic materials and equipment.
