Construction has started and it is scheduled to be put into operation in 2013; Jinping-Suinan ± 800 kv The HVDC project was approved in November 2008 and has a transmission capacity of 7.2 million kilowatts. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2012. In addition, the Ximeng-Nanjing UHV AC project, Xiluodu-Zhexi, Hami-Zhengzhou, and Ningdong-Zhejiang UHV DC projects have obtained the approval of the National Energy Administration for the preparatory work.
