LED Leijing Taiwan Plant Guanglei (2340) Strong demand for orders, driven by orders for large LED kanban orders and sensing components on the US highway, has been scheduled for December.
Zhang Leiquan, deputy general manager and spokesperson of Guanglei, said that Guanglei’s demand for orders this year was strong, and LED expansion reached 3.5 billion. Among them, the number of LEDs supplied to Japan and Asia has expanded from 300 million to 450 million. It is expected that another expansion will be launched in Q1 2011 in response to the huge demand for orders. As for the monthly production capacity of sensing components, it has also expanded from 700 million to 800 million to 1.5 billion.
It is understood that Guanglei lost NT$45.19 million in the first half of 2009 and made NT$329 million in the first half of 2010. The current expansion methods are based on the premise of adding equipment and no need to increase the factory. Therefore, the profit is much improved. It is estimated that the profit in 2011 will be better than that in 2010.
