LED-backlit TV is not a standout

"LEDs Magazine" reports: LED backlight TVs are now available, which means that the application of semiconductor technology is not controlled by a manufacturer. The global lighting market is setting off a wave of new generations. The application of LED semiconductors for TV sets has evolved from a small part of TV remote control to illuminate TV screens.

Financial Times stressed that when LED-backlit TVs were first introduced at high prices, the rise of semiconductor technology meant that LED-based products could be initially offered.
Simon Kang, president of LG's home entertainment division, said that the market has grown to the point where a manufacturer can't stay ahead of the LED-backlit TV market, and semiconductor technology will become "popular." LEDs are known to provide high contrast and brightness, and LED-backlit TVs are thinner and more energy efficient. This technology has evolved from low-light red light in 1962 to semiconductors that produce different colors and combine multiple chips.

Recently, IMS Research pointed out in the report that general lighting has shown a turning point in growth due to the backlight industry. The versatility of LED itself has become an investment hotspot for related equipment. (LEDC MH compilation)
