This year, according to the needs of the market, the first phase of expansion will be properly controlled in 10 MOCVD. At present, the plant built in Yangzhou base can accommodate 60 MOCVD.
Zhen Mingli announced on October 14, 2009 that the company has entered into an agreement with the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee to set up a manufacturing plant in Yangzhou to produce LED epitaxial wafers, chips, packages and lighting modules. With a commitment of $30 million, the project will include the purchase of 30 31 MOCVD equipment.
Earlier, Ye Guoguang said in an exclusive interview with Gaogong LED that "the strategy of Zhen Mingli is to find the market, buy equipment according to market demand, and expand production capacity according to the market. Compared with the domestic crazy buying equipment, Zhen Mingli seems more rational."
