The 16-bit LED driver chip of the technology is also announced by its partner Nanjing Depuda. The company has introduced LED-specific controllers that can save development time and cost of LED displays.

At the press conference, Yang Lichang, general manager of Accumulation Technology pointed out: "Overview of the application trend of LED display, the era of full color screen has arrived. There are data showing that in LED display applications, color screen, signal and lighting applications have accounted for 20%." Emphasize: "In the past few years, mobile phone and other portable device applications have promoted the development of the LED display market, but in the next few years, outdoor full-color screens, signal displays, etc. will become another major promoter. In China, the 2008 Olympic Games and The 2010 World Expo will greatly stimulate the market of color screens. He expects the color screen market to grow by 40% every year.

In addition, he believes that situation lighting, landscape lighting, architectural lighting, billboards, decorative lighting, etc. will promote the development of the LED display market. According to statistics, the scale of China's landscape lighting market has exceeded 700 million yuan in 2005. CCID Consulting expects that the landscape lighting market will have a CAGR of 37% from 2006 to 2010.

Yang Lichang believes that outdoor color display will develop to high resolution and high contrast, and the refresh rate will be greatly improved in the future. This promotes its application. One factor that restricts its application at present is the high initial input cost and the difficulty of maintenance. For these two points, he explained: “The initial input cost is large, but the LED has good display effect, can be reused, can display visual image, etc. The unique advantage, these inputs are worthwhile." For maintenance, he said that the new product has a point-by-point error diagnosis function, which can easily find the failure point for replacement. Lin Rongzong, manager of the marketing technology marketing department, said: "The LED lamp is generally faulty. The failure rate of the driver chip is very low, so you can solve the problem by replacing the lamp."

At the press conference, Accumulation Technology also distributed a neon-type LED driver chip with 17V high voltage resistance. Lin Rongzong said: "Compared with traditional neon lights, the biggest advantage of neon LEDs is that they can work at ultra-low temperature, and do not contain Harmful ingredients such as mercury, and its long life, power consumption is not high." He pointed out that if you take advantage of the color change, neon LEDs can create more beautiful effects than traditional neon lights.

Lin Rongzong said that in the neon LED market, the current situation is completely dominated by the competition. The industry also lacks the standard signal connection protocol standard. At present, all suppliers are in the stage of expanding the market, and they are trying to dominate the market by market. Accumulation Technology currently uses the SPI standard. If supplemented by the RS485 protocol, they can be connected in different shapes in the form of RGB LED clusters.

As the solution provider of LED display control system, Zhou Yi, chairman of Nanjing Depuda Technology, pointed out that the control system of the full color screen era will use many high-tech, such as Depod's DBA-9. 0 embedded master control system will adopt ARM9 core, support online streaming real-time playback. Depuda's new synchronous system will use Xilinx's FPGA to realize display color space conversion and improve the color reproduction of the display. He also revealed that the system supports HDMI interface input and supports HDCP.

In the era of power management chip market, the accumulation of technology in the field of LED display is worth learning. In 2005, Accumulation Technology's products already accounted for 18% of the global market. Lin Rongzong said that in 2006, the global market share of Accumulation Technology can grow to 30%!
