As one of the 2010 seminars on the development of China's tourism industry, the "Cross-Strait LED Industry Development Status Analysis Seminar" will be held on December 1, 2010 at the Socratic Hall of the Taipei Conference Center (Roosevelt Road, Taipei). The seminar was co-organized by Gaogong LED and Taiwan Optoelectronics Semiconductor Industry Association, Taiwan Institute of Industrial Technology, Institute of Electronics and Optoelectronics, International Semiconductor Equipment Materials Industry Association, and Jingbo Technology Co., Ltd. According to the data report of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute (GLII), the LED output value of Taiwan last year was 2.168 billion US dollars, accounting for 25% of the global LED industry. By the end of 2009, the transfer of Taiwan's LED industry to the mainland has reached 50%. By the end of this year, Taiwan's LED industry will shift to 60-70%.
Dr. Zhang Xiaofei, CEO of Gaogong LED and editor-in-chief of the magazine, will give a theme report on “Development of LED Industry in Mainland China in 2010†and “Investment in LED Industry in Mainland China†at the seminar to analyze the current development of LED industry in mainland China. Focus on the status quo and problems of Taiwan LED manufacturers' investment and development in the mainland.
