GE and Konica Minolta collaborate to showcase OLED lighting products at German and American exhibitions

GE pointed out that this new OLED lighting product has good design flexibility, suitable for use in commercial space, home lighting, it has the characteristics of flexibility, energy saving, such as paper thin, OLED light source has reached the moment of mass production.
In both exhibitions, the company will showcase several well-planned OLED lighting scenarios, showing the range of OLEDs that are suitable for use.
GE and Konica Minolta began co-developing OLED lighting products in 2007, GE provided lighting technology and materials development, and Konica Minolta provided the company's thin film technology and materials technology.
GE noted that the company has worked with many lighting designers, architects and image designers to ensure that early-stage OLED lighting applications can be used smoothly in real-world environments.
In addition to mercury-free and lightweight design, GE's OLED lighting products also have the advantages of dimmable function and surface light source illumination.

US giant GE and Japanese manufacturer Konica Minolta have teamed up to develop potential OLED lighting applications, which will be exhibited at Light + Building 2010 in Frankfurt, Germany, and LightFair 2010 in Las Vegas, USA.
