Shanghai businessmen struggle hard to start a business
Ellis Yan grew up in an old family on the beach, and his father, Leslie Yan, founded and successfully operated an alloy factory in Shanghai. When Ellis was 12 years old, the government suddenly confiscated his father's company. Ellis was sent to the countryside for renovation, where he spent eight years, and his teenage years ended in a hurry.
At the end of the 1970s, when the Cultural Revolution ended, Ellis was admitted to a local teacher's college and studied for a year and a half. After his unremitting efforts, finally, the irresistible door of opportunity opened to him again. He raised funds in the late 1980s to set up his own TCP company, and bought some simple equipment to start manufacturing light source products. In the early 1990s, he returned to China to create and own Shanghai Zhenxin Electronic Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Jixin Electronic Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. With his precise product positioning and unique marketing ideas, the fast-growing TCP company quickly and rapidly in 2000. It has begun to invest in large-scale modern factories such as Zhenjiang Qiangling, Yangzhou Qiangling and Subei Lishui Qiangling in China.
