Is it a bit embarrassing to play a 1080p resolution game PC? SEELE Armored PRO trial

Although 4k resolution hardware and applications are slowly picking up, for most people, 1080p is the range that they can currently accept. After all, a single high-end card can be worth a lot of people. The price of the machine is still too large for most people. Recently we have received a SEELE assembler armored PRO, with the common hardware such as i5 and 960 can play out what tricks?


Exterior:

The outer tube of the entire machine has a white appearance, and white is the most common color used in the recent chassis. Some of the good-looking white chassis will be very texture and pure visual experience. This is the case for the chassis that comes from tt .

Top of the chassis has three USB ports, a two USB2.0 USB3.0, and all exposed interfaces have dust plug cover, this is doing quite well.

The front face is a black shield, but the shield is not ventilated. Ventilation requires the use of an air intake below.

The back of the list. The back of the motherboard has USB3.0 interface 4 , USB2.0 interface 2 , and DVI/VGA one each. The mainboard is a Gigabyte B85 . We will see the inside of the board in detail.

 

The graphics card is a GTX 960 , but the video card is not installed internally when the machine is sent. This is already the old rule of the whole machine installation and delivery.

The left side board has a transparent side window, from which part of the hardware can be seen. The side logo of GALAXY GAMER graphics cards can be seen just right.

Open the chassis and you can see the inside of the entire machine.

 

The internal structure is a relatively conventional lower power structure, and the chassis's routing holes do not have rubber protection sleeves, perhaps because of the cheaper relationship. The overall interior of the chassis is relatively simple.

The location of the graphics card. GALAXY GTX 960 gamer is located.

The CPU uses an 80mm fan for heat dissipation and a 12cm red light fan at the rear . However, if you can use a blue or green fan on this machine, it will be harmonious.

The motherboard is Gigabyte's B150M-POWER2 , which can be counted as one of the Gigabyte G1 gaming series. It has a green color scheme and has a completely different style than most other motherboards. There are only two memory slots, but since DDR4 is a large-capacity memory, two can bring enough capacity and the problem is not great.

Here is the wiring part at the bottom, which shows the identity of the dual bios .

Hard disk position. The 120G 750EVO is installed above.

When turned on, the rear red light fan gives a different look to the machine, but if the fan is not red it would be better.

Because if you can match the bottom of the green audio band, then there will undoubtedly be better results.

 

Performance Testing:

 

First we look at its main configuration:

 

Cpu : I5 6500

Motherboard: Gigabyte B150M-power2

Memory: Not equipped

Graphics: GALAXY GTX 960 gamer

Hard Disk: Samsung 750 EVO 120G

Chassis: tt hunter

Power supply: antec VP450


Because the machine itself without memory, so we chose another two DDR4 2133 8G of memory, consisting of a total capacity of 16G for testing.


Although Master Lu is very entertaining, we still need to use Lu to look at the results slightly for ordinary machines.

Master Lu reporting throughout the test scores of about 16 extreme, which graphics score is 90,003 thousand points, this machine in the market are also belong to the middle class.

 

Next we use some software to perform some tests on CPU performance.


The first is chess. Chess is a software that can test cpu's comprehensive computing ability. It mainly examines the processor's logic processing capabilities.

The final test score of the I5 6500 was approximately 9695. This score is in the upper middle level of all processors, and is almost half of the top eight-core processors. There is basically no problem with any daily application.


In addition we also use cinebench for testing. Cinebench is the working pressure when the cpu is simulated . If the score is higher, the faster the CPU is , the stronger the processing power of the cpu is.

 

The test software is cinebench R15 .

Cpu rendering mode scored a final score of 523 points, this score will be a good pressure on the early notebook cpu i7-3840QM one, although intel often squeeze toothpaste in recent years , but after so many years of toothpaste, i5 performance has now been Gradually catch up, and the i7 that matched the earlier ones was not at all a problem.

 

We conducted 3dmark testing on the graphics card . Test of choice is the fire strike ultra 3dmark. We also conducted fire strike and fire strike ultra tests.

Fire strike's final score is 6270 , and fire strike ultra's final score is 1719. At 4k resolution, the 960 does not seem to be able to deal with the game intact, but at 1080p resolution, it still has a better game experience.

 

The next game we conducted on the field test can be a good illustration of this problem.

 

We used this machine to run Call of Duty 12 again , and we conducted 2 settings. One is at 1080 resolution, the other is at 4k resolution, and the rest of the settings are the same.

 

Our first set of settings uses 4k resolution and the rest are as follows;

Almost all full-height settings have been turned on, and estimates will place a lot of pressure on the graphics card and the entire machine.

Therefore, at the beginning of the first chapter of this scene, there is only 12fps frame rate, almost in a playable state.

 

And we switched the resolution to 1080 ;

Keep the game going to the same place while keeping the other options the same;

The frame rate will rise back to about 40fps , although it is still a little bit far from being completely smooth over 60fps , but it is already in a playable state.

 

Power consumption:

 

This set of configuration looks from the basic configuration and belongs to a mid-range configuration. What about its power consumption? Is it able to meet the characteristics of more environmentally friendly?

The power at standby time is about 40w input power. This value is relatively low, and it is not a problem at all for normal electricity consumption.

When the 3dmark test was conducted , the power consumption recorded by it was about 163w . In the whole power consumption, its power consumption was not too high.

 

Obviously this armored PRO is not a top performance-oriented machine. Compared to the midrange configuration, the plain internal force and performance are obviously prepared for those mid-end users. However, trying to plug in the GTX960 and an i5 processor at a low price is already an extreme consideration for the average game user, and its 1080p resolution gaming performance is quite remarkable.

 

The only thing that may be insufficient is that the 120G SSD may not be enough for most people, but I believe that most people who use two or three hundred hard drives should not be a big problem.
